What Are The Best New Casinos To Visit?

Plenty of new casinos have opened up across the U.S. recently; here are three that might be worth considering for your next trip.

Many casinos (along with a lot of other businesses) were hard hit during the pandemic, but with many returning to business as normal (or close to it) and gambling becoming legalized in more and more parts of the country, there are a number of brand new casinos opening up.

Here we look at three new casinos (not based in Las Vegas) that might be worth a trip.

Live! Casino Philadelphia, PA

Live! Casino & Hotel opened in January 2021. You can test your luck at any of the 2,200 slot machines and 150 live action table games. If you feel like getting your poker face on, the casino has a poker room with 29 tables. If you are more into gambling on sports, the Sports and Social FanDuel Lounge is also open.

In addition to all of the gambling options, The Hall at Live! Is a three-story venue that hosts concerts, boxing matches, comedians and music tours. And to eat, you can grab a bite at Guy Fieri’s Taco Joint and Burger Joint and other restaurants.

Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana

Recently, Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana in Gary had its grand opening. The casino features more than 1,800 slot machines and 80 table games.

Dining options include the Hard Rock Cafe, Council Oak Steak & Seafood and Youyou Noodle Bar. And the Hard Rock Live entertainment venue is also on-site for musicians, comedians and more.

Encore Boston Harbour

In 2011, under the Expanded Gaming Act, Massachusetts allowed up to three casino resorts to open in the state. One casino that was granted a license is Wynn Encore Boston Harbour, which opened in June 2019. Over 1,800 state-of-the-art slot machines and 185 table games are on the game floor to choose from. And like many other great casinos, Encore has a poker room where you can test out your bluffing skills.

For maximum convenience, Lucky Pizza and Encore Cantina food trucks are a short walk away from the casino floor. More formal dining options include Rare Steakhouse, Fratelli, Red 8 Night Shift Brewery and On Deck Burger Bar. Other amenities at the resort that you can take part in during your stay include the spa, salon, and fitness center. And finally, if you cash out big in the casino, you might be able to afford something from Watches of Switzerland and other retail stores.
